Current Concerns

1. Netbooks are difficult for Acuity or any type of online testing. Great for word processing and presentations.
2. MS Office concerns - District uses different version than what teachers have at home.
3. Supporting teachers on basic technology skills. Bringing back "Tech Tools"
4. ITS being a part of the decision making process when utilizing technology.
5. Allowing time to prepare for implementing technology (assessment, surveys, tutorials)
6. Internet concerns with weather (BNE / WES)
7. LCE - To increase efficiency, Mr. Chilton and his team have offered to move all the Thin Clients to the correct classrooms. And then let the Tech Team set them up.
8. What are the phases for the Thin Client rollout?
9. ITS need curriculum guides to see GLE
10. Adding Microcenter to POs
11. "blacklist" Normandy email currently being blocked. Working on it.
12. Email will be done over the next few days.

Troubleshooting

1. Google Chrome for netbooks. Utilize the web apps.
2. Shut down netbook. Otherwise the netbook will maintain the IP address when it goes to sleep.

1. iPads with Belkin = learning station better than the +$500 learning station option.
